Mike was a victim of personal injury, sitting in the rear of this VW Bug driven by a friend on 10/06/1972, when it got hit broadside. Result: fractured left femur, that resulted in being in traction for two (2) months, two (2) months on crutches, and two (2) months on a crane. Broadcast experience
Mike was hired by WISH-8 in Indy as a legal commentator in a death case, State of Indiana v. David Bisard. This was initially a Marion County case that was tried in Allen County on a change of venue. It involved a police car driven by a drunk officer that hit and killed a motorcyclist in Indianapolis.
